Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is a new racing game produced by Milestone. It is the follow-up to 2021’s Hot Wheels Unleashed. The game launches in October 2023 and will be playable on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and Series S.

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 Update 1.07 Patch Notes
- Added support for the “AcceleRacers Expansion Pack” add-on.
- Changed the “Unlimited Speed” benefit: it will now reduce vehicle weight at the expense of maximum acceleration speed.
- Changed the “Restart” button position in the tutorial’s match results page
- Added additional vehicles and secret vehicles to the store: players will now have a chance to appear in the store if they own these vehicles.
- Added number of variants created for each vehicle.
- Total number of variants increased.
- Made minor fixes to the user interface.

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 Gameplay
Turbocharged, like its predecessor, is a racing game in which players control Hot Wheels vehicles and race against opponents on miniature tracks in everyday locations such as playgrounds, backyards, mini golf courses, museums, and gas station restaurants. It introduces new elements such as outdoor tracks with grass and dirt, modules for anti-gravity feats, and vehicle abilities like double jumps and sideways drifts.

The game includes motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles, with a total of 130 vehicles in categories including rocket cars, balance cars, swift cars, drift cars, off-road vehicles and heavy vehicles. Players can unlock vehicles by purchasing them in the in-game store and can extensively customize their appearance. Skill points earned through gameplay allow vehicle upgrades, while Turbocharged adds elimination events, drift challenges, online events, a story mode with animated cutscenes, cross-platform play (excluding Switch), two-player split-screen multiplayer, and more model.
