The release of The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria on PlayStation 5 has been delayed to December 5, 2023, just a few days away from its original release date. The game is scheduled to be released exclusively on the Epic Games Store on October 24, with Xbox Series X and S versions expected to launch in early 2024.

According to developer Free Range Games and publisher North Beach Games, the reason for the delay is to make improvements to the PS5 version. They apologized for the inconvenience caused to fans. “Return to Moria” is set in JRR Tolkien’s Middle-Earth, 70 years after the destruction of the Ring.
